Throughout this website, the terms “us”, “our” and “we” refer to Magdalene Sanctuary of Light. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light provides this website, including all services and information available from this website and Magdalene Sanctuary of Light to you, the user, on the condition of your acceptance of all terms, conditions and policies stated here.

By visiting our website and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated here. These terms and conditions are applicable to all and any kind of user of this website.

Part 1 - Participation and participation fee

 

- Magdalene Sanctuary of Light is committed to providing coaching, mentoring, yoga, holistic health consultations, wellness treatments, reading and healing (advice) in the form of individual treatments,individual and group sessions, coaching, mentoring and readings that may consist of a combination of e-learnings (written, audio and / or visual presentations) and / or periodic individual and group coaching, yoga and healing and evaluation (live) online and / or during face to face events in exchange for a participation fee.

- In the case of an individual session, your session will start at the time of the appointment.

- In case of a group or individual longer program, the program starts either immediately upon payment of the participation fee and signing this agreement, or as scheduled and mentioned on the website and/or communicated with you via email.

- The location of the session, event and/or program is always clearly stated on the website.

- When registering for a package (for example, 2 or 3 coaching sessions) and/or program, you commit for the entire duration of the package and/or program.

- You must be present at the agreed time and place. If during the activity you deviate from the session or program on your own initiative or you withdraw from the supervision, you yourself bear the responsibility for all extra costs that this entails and you are not entitled to a refund for services not used.

- For each session and/or program it is stated whether it is given face to face or (live) online. A program can also be a combination of face to face and (live) online training. In exceptional cases (such as force majeure, see eg Corona) it is possible that face-to-face parts are given at a location other than the provided location or are given (live) online. The quality and results of such training courses are equally good. The resources used at Magdalene Sanctuary or Light are just resources. The results can also be achieved and matched in other ways. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light will organize and conduct all online training with the utmost care and replace it with other means if necessary, but it is the responsibility of the participant to provide the correct equipment and to ensure that it works. The participant will in no way be entitled to a refund for services not used as a result of the relocation of a program or conversion into a (live) online program.

- You take responsibility for your own results and success. You understand that everyone, including you, has the potential to develop their full potential. You understand and accept that everyone's success is different and depends on a large number of factors such as your past, your own drive, motivation and commitment. This means that the full service/program fee is payable in the event of discontinuation during the session/program or if you are unable to attend for any reason during any portion of the year of the program. Therefore, you agree that you will not request a refund.

 

Part 2 - The prices and dates mentioned on the website are subject to change without notice.

- No rights can be derived from the website, Facebook pages, Instagram or other information carriers of Magdalene Sanctuary of Light. The photos and general information on the website, social media or other information carriers and possibly detailed information sheets of activities are illustrative and do not form part of the agreement between both parties and any reliance on the material on this website is at your own risk.

- We reserve the right at any time to change or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) without notice at any given time.

- We shall not be liable to you nor any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.

- For activities on the move at home and abroad, you are responsible for the relocation and all costs that arise from it. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light only organizes the activity, not the journey, even though the activity is sometimes referred to as "journey" for convenience. The goal is not the trip but the Program on site.

Part 3 - Payments and refunds

-  Payments - Payments should be made spontaneously as agreed. In the event of non-payment, you will be deemed to be in default by operation of law without additional written notice of default and a conventional compensation of 10% of the amount due is immediately due on the invoice amount, with a minimum of 75 euros and a maximum of 250 euros.

- Refund Policy - All sales are final. We do not accept returns or refunds on 1-1 sessions, programmes or events

- We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

 

Part 4 - Promotional Activities

- You agree that Magdalene Sanctuary of Light may use testimonials or feedback about your experiences or results for promotional activities, without restriction. You also agree that any written or spoken communication that you yourself post on social media or other media will be correct, accurate and truthful.

- We are and shall be under no obligation to maintain any comments in confidence or to pay compensation for any comments.

 

Part 5 - Confidential Information

- Magdalene Sanctuary of Light processes your personal data in the context of its activities and for commercial purposes in a customer database. This means that you can regularly receive informative or promotional material about spiritual, personal and / or professional development. Your development and your privacy are very important to us. We will NOT provide this information to third parties. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light respects your privacy and ensures the confidentiality of your data. You can always request this data and have it corrected in accordance with the law on privacy. If you do not wish to receive informative and / or commercial information, you can unsubscribe at any time.

- In some cases we use a mailing list. Each mail also contains instructions on how to remove yourself from this mailing list. If for some reason this should not be done, it is sufficient to send a simple e-mail to info@magdalenesanctuaryoflight.com with the request to be removed from the file.

- During the activity and/or service organized by Magdalene Sanctuary of Light, both direct and indirect, you are liable for damage caused by you to goods, property and buildings of both Magdalene Sanctuary of Light and third parties, as well as to persons. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light is not liable for damage, loss, theft or damage to property, goods and / or money or damage to persons, by whatever cause, during its activities, directly or indirectly, outgoing, both at home and abroad, also in the context of any activities and / or excursions.

The healing performed by Magdalene Sanctuary of Light is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent any medical or psychiatric problem and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice but as an alternative and complementary resource. Magdalene Sanctuary of Light strongly recommends that you seek professional advice if necessary before making an important health decision.

- Although the services and website offered by Magdalene Sanctuary of Light has been compiled with the utmost care and integrity, Magdalene Sanctuary of Light cannot guarantee its proper use. We therefore do not accept any responsibility for the use or misuse of information provided by us on our website. - Non-transferable - The rights and obligations of this agreement are not transferable to any third party.

- Both parties submit to Belgian law with regard to these general terms and conditions and with regard to all agreements between the parties. With regard to disputes between the parties, only the courts of the district of Ghent have territorial jurisdiction.
