The Callanish Standing Stones (Calanais) on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland are one of the most powerful and mysterious megalithic sites in Europe. Their spiritual significance spans ancient ritual, cosmic alignment, feminine reverence, and soul remembrance.
It's 3 stone circles, represent the Maiden, Mother and Crone. The “Sleeping Beauty” mountain formation seen behind the main Callanish stones (Cailleach na Mointeach — “Old Woman of the Moors”) is intimately associated with the Cailleach goddess, and this mountain is part of a sacred geomantic design with the stones.
The Cailleach in Gaelic means “the Veiled One” or “Old Woman” and refers to the ancient divine hag or crone figure of Celtic mythology—a powerful creatrix and death-bringer, guardian of the land and seasons.
During the lunar standstill, which happens once every 18.6 years, the moon appears to rise from or “roll along” the body of the Cailleach in the landscape—this cosmic alignment is key to the stones’ function and links the site directly to feminine lunar mysteries and the Crone archetype.
While not named after the Cailleach per se, the energetic and mythological field of Callanish is deeply infused with her presence. Many mystics, priestesses, and sensitives experience the site as a portal of the Divine Crone, a place where death, rebirth, sovereignty, and earth cycles are encoded in stone.
The Call of The Cailleach is a Call to the Dark Womb of the Mother, the Ancient Feminine Intelligence that Births Stars and erodes Illusions.
For years it had been on my bucket list to visit this sacred site.
Yet I knew from experience that I was to wait until I was called to be there, as with all sacred sites.
I recall the exact moment a few months ago when I became conscious of the presence of a multidimensional council of ancient beings in my field. They felt to me to be from the ancient lineages of the land at Callanish, the Stellar realms and my own Soul lineage, like a Star and Earth council of Ancient Mothers, Ancient Guardians, Stone Priestesses and Wisdom Keepers. One cannot enter these sacred sites without their permission and invitation on a subtle, energetic level.
They felt familiar on a Soul level in a way I find hard to put into words. I could feel that I was totally transparent to them. They remained in my field and so I knew then - it was my time to come. I could feel them tuning into me and gently preparing my field energetically through recalibration and attunement to their frequency.
As they began to work with me in this way. I was guided to daily anoint myself with Myrrh and Rose oil. These are not merely essential oils, but living etheric intelligences. Revered across ancient temples and lineages, Myrhh holds the sacred codes of death and rebirth, transmutation, and divine feminine embodiment. It supports conscious descent, sacred stillness and the journey into the void where ego dissolves and Soul awakens. It assists in clearing ancestral pain, old identities, trauma, grief, sorrow and in restoring the original codes of the feminine. It can clear ancestral memory patterns and maternal line entanglements held in the womb.
Myrrh embodies the same frequencies of the black light of the Cailleach and the Cosmic Womb Tomb codes of Callanish.
So what did my energetic preparation involve? A stripping away of veils and illusions in all areas of my life. The death of versions of myself that played small and of connections that were no longer in alignment with my Souls truth.
In my personal life, I had to enter the void, that place of in-between death of the old and rebirth of the new. I knew it was a rite of passage I needed to go through - for it is one many of us who hold priestess codes have gone through many times. It is not a comfortable process as many of you reading this know from your own experiences. Yet it is a necessary one.
I was asked to root down and descend into the ancestral patternings in my womb that needed to be cleared - patterns of masculine and feminine wounding and disempowerment. As a code-breaker like many of you reading this, I knew I was soul contracted to transmute distortions both within my own matrilineal lineage as well as within the collective field.
I knew I was being tested and initiated. As I continued to commune with this multidimensional council of ancient beings, I asked their permission to come and to bless and overlight the journey there.
Shortly after, I was spontaneously called to join a friend in Scotland for gridwork at 3 sacred sites on the Rose line - Rosslyn Chapel, Seafield Tower and Arthur's Seat. While there, I was introduced to a wise woman named Anna, who had not only grown up and lived on the Isle of Lewis for many years, but whose ancestors were from the area of Callanish itself. I knew it was no coincidence that we were meeting now.
Indeed, without her incredible support, connections and guidance I don't know how this pilgrimage would have come together the way it did. A beautiful soul sister from the U.S.A. felt called to join me and everything began to fall into place. In preparation, we were both undergoing our own descent into the void and our own initiations.
Despite this, I knew beforehand that our journey to Callanish would be met with unexpected challenges, but that these too were to be regarded as tests and initiations. I did not know what exactly those challenges would be, but I could feel they would happen on our journey from the mainland to the Isle of Lewis.
We were indeed met with challenges en route with our rental car from tje mainland, as well as road blocks and bizarre, unexplainable gps location issues and navigation discrepancies. These delays caused us to miss our booked ferry. Yet we both knew we were being tested to see how we would respond. Would we give up ad go elsewhere? Would we complain and fall into despair? Or would we continue on with full faith?
We both knew in our bones we would be there. Miraculously and with the loving help of Anna, we managed to catch the 2am freight ferry and arrive on the Isle of Lewis at 4:30am, just in time for the super powerful healing and visionary Full Moon in Sagittarius and Ophiuchus, for those familiar with the 13-sign sidereal lunar calendar used in the times of Ancient Egypt.
Let us unveil why this was so deeply significant:
Ophiuchus: The Serpent Bearer
Ophiuchus is one of the most mysterious and esoterically rich constellations in the heavens—a celestial archetype long veiled in obscurity, yet now reawakening in the consciousness of those walking the path of deep healing and spiritual mastery.

Ophiuchus means “serpent bearer” in Greek. It is often associated with Asclepius, the ancient healer and physician-priest who learned to raise the dead and cure all disease, allegedly taught by the serpent itself—sacred symbol of life force energy, transformation, and divine knowledge.
In the sky, Ophiuchus stands holding Serpens, the serpent constellation, in both hands—mastering the dual currents of energy: masculine and feminine, light and shadow, kundalini and divine will.

Ophiuchus also links to the forgotten Grail lineages and the sacred serpent priestesshoods of the ancient world. In Egypt, the serpent on the brow (uraeus) represented divine feminine power awakened. In the Rose Lineage, serpent energy was cultivated in the womb and spine to open oracular vision and cosmic remembrance.
This sign is connected to the Sophianic Christ Light—where the feminine Christ codes rise from the Earth, coiled and luminous, restoring balance to the Tree of Life.
Ophiuchus: The Hidden 13th Gate
In the mystic light of Ophiuchus, the forgotten thirteenth constellation, we encounter the healer-priest/priestess—the one who dances with the serpent not in fear, but in deep communion. Ophiuchus is the keeper of ancient medicine, alchemical transmutation, and the sacred codes of kundalini awakening.
Ophiuchus holds the thirteenth gate—the threshold beyond duality, beyond the wheel of the twelve signs. It is the passageway to the Cosmic Womb.
The Callanish stones, aligned with the moon’s extreme risings and settings, are an ancient lunar temple part of a multi-nodal light grid that includes the Dendera Temple of Hathor in Egypt and the Red and White Springs in Avalon - all Lunar Womb Temples. At Dendera, there is a Temple room dedicated to Ophiuchus.
The serpent in Ophiuchus is not temptation—it is initiation. It winds through your spine, your womb, your lightbody.
In the Magdalene and Isis mysteries, this serpent is the Sophianic current—the sacred wisdom of embodied feminine gnosis.
In lunar mystery traditions, the number 13 holds the frequency of the original lunar calendar—13 moons per year, 13 blood cycles, 13 spirals of the feminine.
Ophiuchus as the keeper of this 13th gate, was hidden by patriarchal systems to suppress the raw power of feminine resurrection.
Ophiuchus also corresponds to the Atlantean wound of the fallen priestesshood — where serpent wisdom was once misused or suppressed.
Standing at Callanish under an Ophiuchus moon as gridworkers, we were given the opportunity to transmute timelines of suppression and betrayal, not through effort, but through presence and not just for ourselves, but for the collective.
Through the energetic preparation in the form of initiations and tests we passed through in the lead up to our pilgrimage, our being was attuned, awake and surrendered. This allowed for the collapse of timelines of misused power and retrieval of hidden soul fragments, as part of the collective healing of the Atlantean feminine collapse.
We became vessels through which the dormant codes could be reawakened, bridging Heaven and Earth, Star and Stone, Serpent and Grail. Under this potent Full Moon at Callanish, we were standing not only at a physical portal of Stone and Earth, but at a cosmic gateway of serpent light, sacred medicine, and womb resurrection.
Together with Sagittarius, this Full Moon on June 11th weaved the path of the visionary with the path of the healer.

You may begin to feel the part of you that remembers who you were before the forgetting, the part of you that came here to heal through embodiment, to see beyond the veil, and to walk as a wisdom-keeper in service to Love.
Of course, it was no coincidence that our pilgrimage was over 3 full days, from the June 10th til Friday the 13th of June and the bed number allocated to me at our cabin bunkhouse was nr.13. (post blog note - this is listed on my website as a 13 minute read).
The Callanish Stones are a multidimensional portal - an encoded grail system of Stellar - Earth communion, designed by ancient wisdom keepers who were in conscious communion with the cosmic laws of creation.
The stones are arranged to echo key constellation patterns - most notably Draco, Cygnus and the Pleiades. These constellations lead to Dragon Lines, Swan Medicine and the Seven Sisters - all known by initiates as portals of Feminine Resurrection and gnosis.
The stone circle mirrors the energetic structure of human DNA - a spiral vortex composed of 12 primary stones = 12 strands of divine potential. The center stone: the divine source point. The avenue: the serpent path of evolution.
Callanish, as a lunar stone temple, grounds celestial medicine and lunar soul codes into the Earth grid.
The moon's 18.6-year major lunar standstill cycle is embedded into the geometry of the site, reflecting the ancient lunar calender of the grail priestesses - a cycle that governs sacred menstrual blood mysteries, womb oracles and soul timing.
At the point of the standstill, the moon's light enters the Earth at an altered angle - this allows higher frequency lunar information to bypass the planetary shadow fields and reach the primal womb codes of the land.
For those lucky to see it, on the Solstice or Lunar Standstill, the moon appears to roll of the body of the Cailleach na Mointeach, the sleeping body of the Earth Mother, and enter her temple, mimicking the Hieros Gamos - the Sacred Union of Earth and Sky.
This activates a transmission into the womb grid of the planet - a network of energetic lines linking the major womb temples: Dendera, Avalon, and Malta among them.
To stand here during such a time is to receive lunar intelligence not just into one's body, but into one's blood, bones and soul lines.
Admittedly, we could not see the lunar standstill moment, but we felt the shift in frequency ripple through the cells in our bodies.
The Cailleach's form embedded in the landscape is a frequency beacon that activates the Great Mother frequency in the land, the body, and the collective feminine psyche.
We were intuitively guided to walk barefoot among the stones, beginning along the northern-southern avenue of stones that resonate a harmonic frequency that entrains one's field into temple consciousness, lifting us into a higher octave of awareness and activating the initiation memory of walking the priestess path between worlds.
With each step I could hear the beat of a shamanic drum on the inner planes and at the end of the avenue my body intuitively began to follow a spiral path leading into the inner Womb Gate. It was as if my body remembered the way of the ancients.
The Stones as Celestial Antennae and Interdimensional Guardians
Each standing stone at Callanish is a frequency anchor - a living crystal that receives and transmits codes from beyond the veil. The stones are not only tuned to lunar rhythms, but also to off-planet transmissions - particularly from Venus, Sirius and Lyra.
Ancient Star Mothers, Galactic Priestess Councils and Ancient Angelic Beings guard this site and use the stones as dimensional doorways to enter the Earth plane during key celestial alignments.
The high quartz content of the stones allows for data storage and resonance broadcasting, meaning they can hold the imprint of human prayer, grief, love and prophecy.
Beneath the visible stones lies a living network of serpentine ley lines, pulsating with luminous dragon codes, These are conscious geomagnetic currents - the vital circulatory system of Gaia's body.
Callanish sits upon a convergence node where several major Earth dragon lines meet, specifically:

🌹 The Silver Thread (a lunar energy filament connecting feminine star temples across the globe).
At the center of the Callanish circle resides a Womb Gate - a portal where linear time seems to collapse and womb time activates.
When you step into the center of this Womb Gate:
🌹 You are standing at the navel of a planetary chakra, where cosmic fire is braided into the Earth’s womb.
🌹 Your womb or hara begins to entrain to the pulse of the planetary mother.
🌹 The serpent rises through your inner temple — not only as kundalini fire, but as dragon-light consciousness encoded with remembrance.
As I stood barefooted, sat and lay on the Earth in this Womb Gate, I began to receive downloads that were felt as light pulses, or inner body vibrations and tingling in my womb. Time seemed to stand still as I found myself merging with the planetary grid in an act of Sophianic communion, feeling deeply held in the frequency field of the womb of the Great Mother.
The central stone acts as the umbilicus - a navel point connecting Gaia's womb to the cosmic ovum. I could feel energy spiralling counter-clockwise, uncoiling trauma, stagnation, patriarchal overlays and distortion fields...and then clockwise, reseeding the field with codes of divine origin, lunar rhythm and creative potency.
Priestesses of old would enter in silence, just as we did, allowing their womb-blood to align with the lunar rotation, syncing them to planetary cycles of conception and prophecy
I felt guided to anoint each stone with Myrrh, the oil I had been guided to anoint myself with daily since communing with the multidimensional ancient guardians of Callanish and took time to commune and connect with each stone as long lost friends. I felt at home.
The stones hold coded memories of soul tribes - particularly the Priestess Orders, Solar Kings, Myrrhophores and Earth Keepers who once gathered here
As I anointed each stone, I received visions of Callanish as a feminine blood temple and rites of lunar anointing. An ancient remembrance of a time when menstruating women would come to the site in lunar alignment, to offer their sacred menstual blood, not as a release but as a broadcast of sacred blood-light codes.
These blood-light codes were made of light-encoded consciousness strands originally carried by Lyran, Venusian and Sirian Star Mothers. These codes were seeded into the sacred menstruum of feminine lineages on Earth - the original grail priestesses.
Callanish still functions as a feminine blood temple - honouring the moon's changing face and her wisdom cycles as well as a soul-light transmitter, restoring lost grail strands and weaving them back into the collective feminine field.
The Rose Grail Lineage and Sophianic Templates
Callanish is part of a greater Rose Grail crystalline light grid across the globe that holds codes of Lemuria, Atlantis and the Sophia Christ.
As with many of the temples located on this Rose grid, Callanish is also a resonance chamber. As we began to hum, our individual tones hit a chord that created a powerful resonance that could be heard and felt. It was as if the stones had begun to hum with us, amplifying the soundfield and vibrating powerfully throughout our bodies.
During our time there we also observed how other visitors interacted with the grid. Some spoke of feeling a force field that was pushing them out of the central Womb Gate so they did not enter. Others felt fear of the central Womb Gate circle and kept away from it like something unpleasant might happen to them if they approached it. Many were only interested in taking selfies and photos without even connected with any standing stones.
Yet there were a few who knew how to engage with it for what it is and for some this was a deeply moving, emotional experience to sit, barefooted and commune with the central stones.
